What do you do with hachiya persimmons once you've had your fill of persimmon cookies and pudding?
Learn to make Hoshi Gaki, delicious traditional Japanese whole dried persimmons, and start a cherished family Holiday Tradition.

Hoshi gaki are whole hachiya persimmons that are preserved through peeling, hanging, and gentle massaging of the fruit until they turn into pure ambrosia and become sweet as candy. A fabulous natural treat.

From late October until mid November, we offer hands-on Hoshi Gaki Classes at the orchard and at selected locations throughout California.
