INDIAN BLOOD Mottled rose over silvery green skin, white flesh streaked with crimson, distinctive flavor has floral, berry notes. Freestone. Firm, juicy, aromatic flesh slices beautifully, very dramatic look. Season: Early to mid August Size: 20 to 28 per metric layer Suggested uses: Great for visual appeal when sliced. Fresh eating, seared or grilled, salads, cheese platters, baking, sorbets, preserves, sauces, mixed drinks. Shelf life: Store at 50 degrees for best flavor, 32 degrees for maximum shelf life. Fairly good keeper. |
