Description:These foothill grown mandarins nurtured in our light, acidic soil offer a flavor profile different from their central valley cousins. Sweetness is balanced with crisp acidity for a complex, rich flavor. Very juicy, seedless and easy to peel.

Suggested uses: Delicious as a snack. Add slices to salads, fruit salads, juice them and use the juice straight up at breakfast or later in the day in mixed drinks. The juice and finely grated zest are great in sauces, dressings, and to make sorbets. Candy the peels and chop them in baked goods, or infuse the peels in vodka.

Shelf life: 2 weeks in your refrigerator if you can keep the kids from eating them all in a day.
