Description: Large flat acorn-shaped fruit. Thick skin is lighter orange color tinged with bronze, fruit astringent until soft, then reminiscent of mango. Great for decorating center pieces, mantels and buffets. Unreliable bearer. Rare.

Season: October, November

Size: Multiple sizes packed in the same box due to generally large size.

Suggested uses: Fresh eating, baking, sorbets, sauces. Very decorative on Holiday tables.

Shelf life: Can be delivered firm to be softened at your convenience. Once soft, eat or process within a few days. Persimmon pulp freezes well.
