Fuyu persimmons are non astringent, meaning that they can always be eaten crisp. Their sweet and juicy orange flesh is delicious eaten out of hand and makes a beautiful accent in fall salads. We also love sliced Fuyu on our sandwiches and instead of tomatoes in a fresh salsa.
