Santa Rosa plums have purple skin and juicy, pinkish gold flesh with delicious floral notes and sweet tart balance. They are one of the oldest and best varieties of Japanese plums, developed by famous botanist Luther Burbank in the early 20th Century. Lean forward when biting into them to avoid staining your shirt
